He is a problem solver, and he will fix an issue in a way that I couldn't have imagined and in a manner far better than I had hoped for. His work is always of the highest quality. Plus, he is efficient as well as pleasant to have around in the house. Among the many things Scott has done: evaluating a new home, re-hanging a problem door and adding weather stripping, project management, re-keying doors, finding and repairing leaks—the list is long. Scott has an amazing range of skills: from carpentry (both rough and finish) to locksmithing to handyman jobs to supervision of major home remodeling projects. For my wife and me, Scott has done numerous handyman tasks as well as supervising three major home renovation projects. He is not only very resourceful and solution-oriented, he is also an unusually great communicator who can explain complicated construction and design matters clearly and understand what the client wants. We’ve had experiences with other people in the construction trades who cut corners, try to slough off difficult problems on the client, garble communications, or disappear from the job for long stretches. Scott is the opposite of all that: he is truly reliable and honest, taking responsibility for all his work, and maintaining the highest quality standards. And he is always upbeat and approachable, great at maintaining his cool when a project hits a snag. Because of his integrity, experience, and thorough knowledge spanning the various construction trades, I can’t imagine anyone better suited for project management, construction consulting, and acting as liaison with contractors.

Scott helped me with a living room update project, and I couldn't be happier with his attitude, professionalism, or the beautiful results. He painted walls, hung art, built shelves, fixed and rehung broken closet doors, mounted window treatments, and did it all with a smile on his face! When he was done he thoroughly picked up his tools, wiped down and vacuumed the area so I was left with a beautiful, functional space. 10/10, I would definitely work with Scott again!
